Arctic 1000 solo cycling challenge

We have been working with the wonderful charity Action Medical Research since Aiden benefited from the cooling treatment which AMR provided funds for the research.  In 2016 we were contacted by Chris Armishaw who had been fundraising for AMR for many years and wanted to make contact with a local family, and that’s where Aiden came in.

Chris had taken on several big cycling challenges over the years to help raise vital funds for AMR, and now Chris is raising for both Aiden and AMR by taking on the Arctic 1000 solo cycling challenge.

On Monday March 6th 2017 Chris will begin his next big challenge, cycling solo for 1000 miles across the arctic!!

You can follow Chris’s journey through his blog at http://arctic1000.blogspot.co.uk/ or on twitter https://twitter.com/ChrisArmishaw.

Chris recently chatted to BBC Essex host Tony Fisher about his challenge, you can listen to the interview here, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04s4zgk, the interview is 1 hour 23 minutes in.

Chris’s blog has links to the fundraising page for Aiden and Action Medical Research.

We’re very grateful for Chris taking on this amazing journey for Aiden.
